What is the cost of the program?

The cost of registration is $97 per person.  

How do I register for the program?

Registration is online. Click on the registration link at the bottom of this page to register.

There is no on-site registration and it must be paid in advance. There are limited seats available, and registration is expected to fill quickly.

Where will the program be held?

The program will be held, inshallah, at the Hyatt Dulles, near Dulles Airport. Its address is 2300 Dulles Corner Blvd, Herndon, VA 20171. You may visit its website at http://dulles.hyatt.com/hyatt/hotels/index.jsp

What about lodging?

Because of the nature of the program and for the convenience of attendees, attendees are strongly encouraged to stay at the Hyatt-Dulles.

Registrants who mention Al-Madina Institute at the time of reservation will receive a special discounted rate at the Hyatt-Dulles of $79 per night for reservations before March 21, 2012. Reservations after March 21 will be according to the prevailing market rates at the time. Al-Madina Institute is not responsible for hotel reservations; any inquiries should be made to the Hyatt directly (see below).

I'm flying in from out of town. Is there transportation to and from Dulles airport?

The Hyatt-Dulles has complimentary shuttle service between Dulles airport and the hotel for all hotel guests.

What if I want to attend for only one or two days?

The program is a three day program and registration is on a first come-first serve basis for attendees registering for three days. If seats are available, one or two day registration will be allowed on a case by case basis. Please contact Al-Madina Institute at info@almadinainstitute.org to inquire about availability.

Can you tell me more about the program and its schedule?

The lectures and activities during this program will concentrate on the Qur'anic sciences and should be considered as a spiritual retreat, a means by which we can reconnect with the Qur'an. Students who are dedicated and attend with an emphasis on spiritual matters are likely to benefit most from the program.

Sessions will begin Friday afternoon and conclude in the early evening on Sunday, April 8. Classes will be conducted from the morning to evening with sufficient breaks for students during the course of the day.
